Digital Folder
About the Digital Folder
The Digital Folder forms the cornerstone for a blockchain-based IT infrastructure and is a software module composed of the three building blocks Token Manager, Authorization Module and Light Node Service, all developed by Blockchain Europe. Documents are brought together in a digital folder and related to each other according to a specific business logic. The technology used ensures sufficient trust in the correctness of the documents and the traceability of any changes (data integrity). In addition, access can be individually controlled by means of a detailed role rights system. Digital folders can thus be used, for example, in dealings with authorities, for tracing important goods and merchandise, for accompanying documents, or for forgery-proof passports and certificates.
